1. What is the turnaround time on products?
After client finalisation and approval of design, please allow up to three weeks for production and then shipping. As much time as possible should be given when ordering wedding invitations to allow for alterations and customisation and then time for your guests to reply. Ideally at least 4 months before the wedding is a good time to order. Please note that the ability to meet deadlines is also dependent upon the client’s provision of all relevant information and approval, hence why the turnaround time given is an estimate, not a guarantee.
2. If I need my wedding invitations in a hurry, can I have my order rushed?
Where at all possible we will endeavour to fulfill rushed orders, however availability may be limited and urgency surcharges may apply. Please contact I Will Invitations to arrange this.
3. Can I see a proof of the wedding invitation?
Samples are available for purchase on this website so you are able to see the quality of products. Once invitations have been ordered and your requests included in the design, proofs will be submitted for approval. Please refer to the ordering process page if further information needed.
Please do not ask I Will Invitations for free samples as refusal may offend.4. I need to order more wedding invitations. Can I do this?
Although reordering is fine, it is advised to include a few blank wedding invitations for any additional and unexpected guests with your order. This will also ensure you avoid the minimum order of 20 products applicable when reordering.
Artwork and details are kept on hand for a certain amount of time in case additional products are ordered at a later date.
5. What is the minimum number to order?
Due to the lengthy process of creating customised products, please note that all products carry a minimum order of 20, excluding table menus.
6. How many wedding invitations do I need?
Each client will decide a number based on their own individual needs however a basic rule of thumb is:
- One wedding invitation for each couple / family
- Blank invitations for extra and unexpected guests (those you may have forgotten or additional guests to replace those who decline your invitation). Many clients work out their wedding invitation total and then add in 10% more to cover this.
- A keepsake wedding invitation for yourself
- Courtesy wedding invitations for those dear who must sadly miss the occasion but would appreciate the invitation e.g. Ill relatives, overseas guests.
7. I’m not quite sure how to word my wedding invitation...
Please refer to the wording section of this website for some examples of wording or feel free to contact I Will Invitations for further suggestions. Likewise, the internet is a veritable treasure trove of wording examples.
8. Can you deliver internationally?
International customers are welcome to order. Please contact us beforehand to arrange shipping quote prior to ordering. Please note that the customer will be responsible for all duties and customs charges.
9. What is the best way of providing you with information such as a guest list or photos if necessary?
Wedding information such as a guest list can be written on the downloadable guest list and then sent in digitally after you order. Please ensure all spelling is exact and all names are printed how you wish to address them. Photos can also be sent digitally, with at least a 300dpi resolution. Alternatively, contact I Will Invitations if you would like to arrange another method of delivery, although it should be noted that I Will Invitations will not be liable for damage or loss when sent via mail and that any photos or information that need to be returned will be delivered back with the order.
Please also note that I Will Invitations will be not be held responsible for variations in colour or quality of photographs in the product, or for flaws that were in the supplied image.
10. What is I Will Invitations’ policy regarding personalisation of guests’ names? Is it included for free?
I Will Invitations strive to deliver a package that allows the client minimum fuss yet maximum satisfaction. That is why all items listed on the product page have a set pricing where you are given the option to either allow I Will Invitations to personalise the items for you, or to have them left blank so that you can either hire a calligrapher to do them or fill them in yourself.
11. Can I order a no-obligation sample of products?
I Will Invitations is available exclusively via the internet so anyone online can access our designs. If you would like to examine the products personally, please order a sample pack from the products page.
It is recommended that anyone interested in a stationery item first order a no-obligation sample to assess for themselves the quality as refusal by I Will Invitations after asking for free samples may offend. Please also note that samples may be deliberately watermarked to prevent copyright issues.
12. I like I Will Invitations’ products but they are not fitting my specific requirements. Is it possible to alter designs, create additional accessories not shown on the product page, use wedding invitations for another purpose or have a custom design made for me?
