Information you may want to include: MAP: major roads, hotels, receptions, ceremony. TOURIST INFORMATION CARD: hotels, major attractions and contact numbers. GIFT REGISTRY: how to contribute, name of registry and name that it is under, whether the bride and groom will know how much guests are contributing, cut off date, poem to ask guests to politely contribute.

HINTS and TIPS

* Keep the message simple so as not to overwhelm your guests * Wording for gift registries can be found easily with an internet search, or by asking I Will Invitations for some ideas * Be aware that some guests view guest registries negatively as they don’t like to divulge to the bride and groom just how much they have spent, especially more elderly guests that aren't used to the practice. You may wish to write an alternative where these guests can ask a trusted family member if they need any ideas for presents. * Make sure that your registry supplies you with a final list of contributing guests so that you are able to thank them for their thoughtfulness. * Traditionally, the gift registry was not included with the invitation but it is becoming a much more accepted practice.
